CADCHF long position

I haven't updated about this position, but I already opened CADCHF long position, and SL is already in place at breakeven point so that there would be no loss for this trade.

A Bit of Progress

There had been a bit of progress on my $100 test account. AUDCAD short position hit the TP, while GBPUSD short (I had no chance updating it on this blog) hit SL.
I have moved SL of my EURGBP long position from 0.85748 to 0.86082. Now it's a free ride no matter what happens.

EURJPY TP hit

My short EURJPY position hit TP at 130.862. I got 87 pips while risking 47 pips. Risk-reward ratio was about 1:2. Great start for the tiny $100 account. Now it's up 9%.

EURGBP Triggered

My EURGBP buy pending order has been triggered at 0.86082 with SL at 0.85748 and TP at 0.86717.

EJ SL moved to BE+1 pip

I moved the initial stop loss of EJ at 132.029 to BE+1 pip from the entry price.

Another position I placed (which I was so lazy and didn't post) was triggered. It was AUDCAD short at 0.94275 with SL at 0.94557 and TP at 0.93916.

EURJPY Triggered

My EURJPY sell pending order was triggered.

I placed a sell stop pending order at 131.588 on EURJPY where the red horizontal line is drawn on the picture above, but the actual position was opened at 131.736. It seems  that there was a positive slippage about 15 pips. I've seen many negative slippages with many brokers, and I think slippages are common things, but as far as I know 15 pips POSITIVE slippage is rare.

I have no complaints at this time, of course, but this big slippage could occur in a negative direction. It's just a $100 account and I don't take it seriously, but you may want to be careful with RVD Markets.

EDIT: I have located the cause of the positive slippage. During the time the pending order was triggered, there was a news event called US Core Durable Goods Orders. Generally, such news events could be a cause of big slippage. So it was a natural slippage for an ECN broker.

So I now think RVD Markets is fairly reliable. Seeing such a big positive slippage, I believe they do no manipulation. Normally, a broker with bad manipulation would allow slippages on negative side only, but with RVD, it happened on a positive side.

New pending orders on EURJPY and EURGBP

I've deleted the previous EURUSD pending order and placed two other orders on EURJPY and EURGBP. The reason is simple. I found less riskier opportunities. But I'm not sure if the pending orders are triggered in my favor as recent market is dead silent.

EU long pending order

I've placed a long pending order on EU. Theory is simple. Price has once penetrated a strong registance around 1.34000 area and retraced back a bit. If the recent high is taken out, then it suggests EU may further go up.

New Test Account

It's quite a while since I posted the last post here.

About a month ago, someone contacted me and told me he was waiting for my new post and learn to trade from me. I feel ashamed simply because I have nothing to teach him. Simply put, I'm not a successful forex trader. I've tried many systems and EAs, but I haven't found the one that seems to last long.

I'm currently using one EA, but I don't intend to explain it here now. Although the EA looks good, it's just at a testing satge. Instead, I've prepared one tiny account for my own manual trading.

You can find it here:

Initial fund is about $100. I'll see how it's gonna be.
